The asparagus gratin in the oven are a tasty and quick side dish to prepare. We made them with our Crispycous, the first couscous breading that doesn’t need to be fried!
Ingredients:
- 500 g asparagus (1 bunch)
- 100 g of corn Crispy cous
- 50 g of grated parmesan or grana cheese
- 1 tuft of parsley
- 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- enough salt
- enough ground black pepper
Preparation:
Wash and dry the asparagus. Remove the most woody and tough part of the stalk.
Line a baking sheet with baking paper, add a drizzle of oil, and then arrange the asparagus in rows without overlapping them. Add a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper and top with oil.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10 minutes. In a bowl pour the Crispy cous, add salt, pepper, chopped parsley and grated cheese, mix then add the 4 tablespoons of oil and continue mixing.
Remove the asparagus from the oven and top with the panure and bake for another 10 minutes at 180°C (350°F).
